Can't waste the day when the night brings a hearse
Has anyone been up at the Q and scalped tickets for a Cavs game this year? I am planning on driving up Friday to watch the game versus the Bulls and wondered about scalping vs Craigslist for Cavs games. I want to make sure I take enough cash if I decide to scalp and want to get as close to a guarantee to get in as possible with a 3-3 1/2 hour drive from Columbus.

It takes you 3-3 1/2 hours to get to Columbus from Cleveland!? Do you not take I-71? I used to live in Mansfield, OH (right off of 71 on US30), and I was 45 min. to an hour from Cleveland and no more than an hour and 15 from Columbus.

As for scalping...I really don't know what to tell you. Given the performance this season, though, I would check Craigslist and try not to pay too much over face value when you get to the Q if you go the scalping route. $250 per ticket would be my personal max for the lower levels. If you want a guaranteed seat, you'll want to go the official route, of course. My next option would be Stubhub or another exchange site. I am very wary of Craigslist and scalping.

Heck, I forget, can you scalp tickets in Ohio anymore? I've only been able to go to one Indians game since I moved to Indiana.

*also, is that drive time round-trip, or each way? Reading it again, RT sounds plausible, but if its one way...

well seeing I would drive from south columbus to downtown cleveland it would be in that range with a stop accounted for. They have some good deals on craigs but obviously its hard for me to meet with anyone being here in columbus and not cleveland... was checking the average of tickets being sold outside the stadium and if i drive up there i want in the arena
