Scenarios for Final CFP Playoff Rankings

Some mouth breathing caller on Sirius today literally said that Ohio State wouldn't beat Auburn or Florida.

I am sure there was plenty of analysis to back up that claim. Most of the people I work with from the region or an SEC school only watch CBS SEC game and maybe ESPiN if their team is on one of their channels. They haven't watched any #PAC12AfterDark so fuck 'em.

i know a guy that literally thinks Wisconsin would be roughly Mississippi State if they were in the SEC and that State would be in the B1G championship game every year if they were Big Ten.

no he wasn’t joking either.

This is a tough question that goes to every God-fearing sports fan's primary goal - ridiculing fans of other teams. On one hand, it will be great fun if Michigan gets humiliated by Bama, or if Penn St even more embarrassingly loses to Memphis. On the other hand, when the fans of non-BigTen teams come prancing around, it will be a little easier ridiculing them if the second-tier BigTen teams would win a semi-marquee bowl game once in awhile. Pros and cons either way.
Didn’t the BIG have a pretty solid Bowl season last year or was it the year before? I really think that stuff gets forgotten in short order8D

Bowl season success, in my IMO, is often determined by whether the top teams get taken to higher level bowls or not, because that skews the levels of the teams playing each other to a positive or negative effect on the bowl scores.
