Also note that I am listing Chrisman as part of the 2017 class as that is what he effectively is (but my count for 2017 will always be one higher
han the recruiting services).

Dropped Felder altogether pending any official word that he is a grayshirt. However, since we would be at 85 for this year and the problem is next year I don't see what problem that would solve numbers wise.

Correct. I meant that we would be at 85 with Felder not grayshirting. And since grayshirting simply moves him to next year's crowded class it doesn't really resolve anything.

Not that I wish him gone but it only helps with the numbers if he is.

I read the prep school thing as the door opening to not re-recruit him but I see your point.

There are 10 guys who are academic SR's and athletic JR's this year so they would ALL have to leave plus the 6 true SR's to be able to have the class of 17 we keep hearing about.

Somebody(s) going to get cut have medical hardships/decide to transfer before next fall.

I think prep school route signifies maybe something with the grades might not be where they should be... last couple of Prep school guys have turned out well (Jones, Hyde, Thomas)...

Actually, the number is now 86. In January, walk-on LBs Joe Burger and Craig Fada were awarded scholarships for their senior seasons. They are not listed in Oh8ch's table.

Right now. I'm guessing if another departure took place, they might keep them, but it's been talked about in many media outlets that they were on scholarship until fall but not in the fall.
