Scholarship Breakdown by Position and Recruiting Class

I do love this chart and reference it frequently. Great job!

Are you going to update it to reflect Gonzo passing up his last year of eligibility? Or are you awaiting the announcements from Ginn, Jr. and Pittman, too?

TIA

Those are coming for certain, yea or nay, tomorrow. Makes sense to wait 24 hours, right?

I've adjusted for the declarations of Ginn, Gonzo, and Pitt. I also added Hine's commitment, and created an "ATH" row for prospects listed as such, even though it may already be clear where they may play once they get on board (and thus moved Clifford and Torrence under ATH)...

Any reps for this go to Oh8ch...

Lyons got that redshirt from 2005 and could be moved back a year. Kerr as far as I can tell was a true freshman in 2006. If you guys find time, maybe the 2006 freshmen who played can be listed with the 2005 redshirts and not the 2006 redshirts.

I believe the count would be
6 Sr. (7 minus Lyons)
26 Jr. (25 plus Lyons)
18 So. (12 minus Kerr + Coleman, Wells, Rose, Small, Ballard, Homan, Gant)
13 RFr. (19 plus Kerr - Coleman, Wells, Rose, Small, Ballard, Homan, Gant)
14 TFr.

Thanks for such an invaluable resource, and one that doesn't get cluttered with walkons (cough...Scout...cough).

Coleman, CWells, Rose, Small, Ballard, Homan, and Gant were true freshman who played so they aren't redshirts...they will be moved up to sophomores once NLOID passes and the recruits become members of the freshman class and I bump out the seniors. In other words, the chart will then show the eligibility that will be in effect for the upcoming 2007 season.

I took a quick peruse through Lyons' thread and saw nothing definitive on his medical redshirt, but if he didn't play in 2005 that's a redshirt, medical or not. I'll move him once that's confirmed...

OK, now that all the 2007 LOIs have been signed, and we're anxiously awaiting our first commit of the 2008 class, I went ahead and deleted the current senior class and shifted everyone over to where they'll come summertime. I'm pretty sure I've got everything right (making sure I got which players of the past freshman, aka 2006, class played this season and who redshirted, etc.). I know Russell was a RS freshman this past season and got hurt early in the season and will be able to apply for a sixth season, but my understanding is that he can't apply until after his fifth year, so I'm keeping him as a sophomore eligibility-wise.

If anyone sees any errors, please let me know...

Tough to say this without coming off unappreciative, but you asked. Its no longer color coded for one, and two, I cant remember if it had it before but I thought you had freshman-senior titled at the top of each column before. But anyways, all you'd hafta do is re-color code them for which recruiting class they came in with.

It is color-coded. Firefox doesn't play along.

The columns are titled...

A couple things:
Josh Kerr was a true freshman last year since he didn't enroll in Miami or anywhere else before coming here. Besides him, everyone is in the right column but the numbers for the sophomore and redshirt freshman class should be 18 and 13.

Rumors I've heard:
Lukens is on or will go on medical scholarship. Obviously, this doesn't affect the count since he's a senior.

Whaley should be a senior this year. According to his official bio, he walked on in 2003 (as #79). Despite all the listings of him as a RS So. last year, I think he was in reality a RS Jr. and will be finishing in 2007. That would clear a spot for next year.

This chart is such a great resource though.
