Mistri, I think you're probably very close to the truth with that statement. Oneupsmanship with help from the media droning about it over and over and over. I don't think anyone in their right mind wants to see things like this happen. It's the medias job to report the news but I think it's also their responsibility not to glorify acts such as this.

A writer who identified himself as Jeff Weise of the Red Lake Reservation posted the messages under the nickname "Todesengel" — German for "angel of death." An April 2004 posting by him referred to being accused of "a threat on the school I attend," though the writer later said he was cleared.

I have a 7 year old nephew and a 2 year old neice, and I often worry about what types of idiots are around that may do them harm. Down where My brother lives, there was a accused child molestor in the area, and they thought he had tried to entice some kids into his car, so the cops were looking for him. The neighbor hood was scared and no one lets there kids out with out adults for two days. After the two days they found him....dead in his car wrapped around a pole. He had a heart attack while he was driving, thank god he didnt get anyone in that time
