Outstanding Counter point....well done....Lets find some others....I can guarantee that if he is strongly considering Michigan then the coaches will use the fact that not many spread OL play in the NFL. This kid aint going to Michigan.

Did you not read rs's post?

I understand this is a tOSU board so Michigan should be ripped on all the time, but what in the world are you talking about? The system that an offensive tackle plays in doesn't matter one bit to NFL scouts. Things like size, frame, height, quickness, power, technique, etc. are all much more important.

The #2 pick in the draft last year played in a spread offense. Further, out of the 4 OTs picked in Round 1, 2 of them played in spread offenses. If you're talented, scouts will find you.

It will be very difficult for Michigan to overcome the offensive system issue. Other coaches will say NFL teams only want pro-style lineman, UM will point to Jason Smith while also saying the teams have been impressed with UM lineman in the past such as Baas, Backus, Long, and Hutchinson. Other coaches will say that was under a previous coach and doesn't matter for the new regime and around and around we go.

Henderson's recruitment will go all the way to signing day or at the EARLIEST, the all-star games. Right now, if I had to put money down, it would be placed on Minnesota or USC, but the tipping point is Minny will also land his best friend and I would bet on them if I was getting 3/1 odds.

I think Michigan will win this one.

He just seems like the kind of kid that would go to USC.

Actually, not at all to me.

Henderson seems like the kind of kid that would go to ND, OSU, PSU, or Michigan.

Doesn't seem like the U$C type to me. Seems like a humble kid with a good head on his shoulders.

Hmm, thwarting a BPer's attempt to keep BP mature. Don't know how I feel about that.
You're talking to Mili.

Wow. I'm surprised by that prediction.

me too, but from what I was told he really clicked with the OL coach at Michigan, and he has family and friends near there. Plus he's also taking a return trip there this weekend. Well see what happens when his recruitment warms up in late November until February, however at this time Michigan makes sense.

Do you think Michigan ends up offering his teammate, who I believe only has a Minnesota offer as of right now?
