Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
NFL fines Pete Carroll, Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks and coach Pete Carroll have been collectively fined more than $300,000, according to sources, and will lose two double practices in 2015 as ruled by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violating no-contact rules that govern NFL teams' offseason practices.

Carroll's fine was at least $100,000 and the Seahawks were docked over $200,000 while the team will lose at least two minicamp practices next season because it had excessive contact between players during a June 18 practice, per sources.

The NFL confirmed the loss of two practices, but said the team will be allowed one practice session on the final day of its minicamp.

The Seahawks had been fined an undisclosed amount in 2012 by Goodell for a similar violation under Carroll's supervision and lost their final two organized team activities practices, sources added.

The 2011 collective bargaining agreement bans physical contact between players during the offseason.

No surprise here. So when was ole' Petey ever worried about following the rules?

Marshawn Lynch to re-sign with Seattle Seahawks - ESPN.com
The star running back signed a two-year extension Friday after meeting with Seahawks officials, including team owner Paul Allen. The extension keeps him under contract with Seattle through the 2017 season, but more importantly includes a massive raise for the 2015 season, when he will make $12 million, according to agent Doug Hendrickson. Lynch was scheduled to make $7 million for the 2015 season.

Marshawn got that $ and he absolutely deserved it. Russell Wilson, you're up next. Now that they've shown their hand on committing to the offense, I wonder who they will part ways with on defense because they can't pay all of these guys.

Seahawks didn't interview witnesses of Frank Clark's alleged domestic assault, report says

Seattle general manager John Schneider, who said prior to the 2012 NFL Draft that his team "would never take a player that struck a female or had a domestic violence dispute like that," was asked Friday night if that's still his stance. "Yeah, it still is," Schneider said, via ESPN. "I can't get into all the specifics of Frank's case, but that is still a deal-breaker for us and will continue to be.
