He also fails to mention that the one team that did beat Bama last year was Auburn. The same Auburn that beat UGA last year. And UCF beat them.

I know transitives aren't great at predicting future games, but when you see the stacked deck that is otherwise known as the CFP, you might as well play it.

The Citadel (4-6) vs Bama 17-50
Idaho (4-7) vs UF 10-63
Middle Tennessee (7-4) vs UK 20-34
Liberty (4-6) vs Auburn 0-53
UMASS (4-8) vs Georgia 27-66
UAB (9-2) vs aTm 20-41
Rice (1-11) vs LSU 10-42
Chattanooga (6-5) vs S. Carolina 9-49

39-49 are the teams the SEC played minus the 3 conference games. Average score of these games came to Cupcakes - 14 points to SEC - 50 points. Play these games weeks 1-4 and nobody bats an eye.

The game against Chattanooga made S. Carolina bowl eligible with a date against Clemson next.

It's also not the same since they are skipping a 9th conference game against the peerless SEC.

Let's be honest here. The Sunbelt is a bunch of FCS schools that are FBS schools only by virtue of being paid regularly by the SEC to get their asses kicked. The mac as once a half decent conference that is now a shell of it's former self
