SEC (It just means more.. even its losses are wins)

1. Kick Six, Alabama vs. Auburn 2013

This is a no-brainer for the No. 1 spot. It's the most iconic play in the history of one of college football's best rivalries, and given the stakes of that game — the winner would take the SEC West crown and likely go on to play for the national championship — likely the most iconic and important play in the history of college football.

"Auburn's gonna win the football game!" will also forever be one of the greatest calls of all-time — in any sport.

Yeah, that's my #1 one too.

yeah i’m biased, but the Kentucky radio call of the Bluegrass Miracle is my personal favorite.

“The students are tearing down the goal post. ... I don’t know why”

Maybe I shouldn't be; but, I'm kind of surprised that one of the coaches involved was a female. However, maybe there was "equal opportunity" at the camps and some of the male cheerleaders were nude too. :

UK cheer coaches fired after investigation into hazing, alcohol use, public nudity

The University of Kentucky has fired all four of its cheerleading coaches after a hazing investigation.

UK officials said head coach Jomo Thompson, Assistant Coaches Ben Head, Spencer Clan, and Kelsey LaCroix were all dismissed in the wake of a three-month investigation into hazing, alcohol use, and public nudity.

Another comment....
The investigation started in February after the university received a call from a family member of a cheerleader alleging inappropriate conduct and inadequate oversight by coaches during off-campus trips, the report said.

The Dawgs are looking into scenarios where Sanford allows limited attendance for home games this season.
The catch - no gatherings outside of the stadium. No tailgating.

What exactly are fans arriving early supposed to do? Sit quietly in their cars? Sit quietly in Sanford Stadium? I guess it’ll be one or the other, assuming they’re allowed into the stadium early.

Jul 10, 2017; Hoover, AL, USA; The Southeastern Conference logo is shown on the Hyatt Regency Birmingham-The Winfrey Hotel during SEC media days at Hyatt Regency Birmingham-The Winfrey Hotel.

I didn't know that "It just means more" was actually on a building.

Things are not all rosy in God's football conference :no:
https://www.si.com/college/2020/07/15/sec-2020-football-schedule-plans

  • “Barring a full, 12-game schedule, three models emerged as strong possibilities with league power brokers: an eight-game conference-only schedule and a nine or 10-game plan that would preserve at least one scheduled matchup with a Power 5 conference program.”
  • “The SEC has already lost two Power 5 games with the Pac-12’s decision to hold a conference-only season: Alabama-USC and Texas A&M-Colorado. The league is attempting to preserve its remaining 13 Power 5 conference games, including the aforementioned four Sept. 12 games and most notably the four traditional rivalries with the ACC: Georgia-Georgia Tech, Florida-Florida State, South Carolina-Clemson and Kentucky-Louisville. The other five games are Arkansas-Notre Dame, Georgia-Virginia, Ole Miss-Baylor, Missouri-BYU and Vanderbilt-Kansas State.”
  • “Despite rising case numbers nationwide, with many hotspots in the SEC’s 11-state footprint, the consensus among administrators is that their communities and athletes are strongly in favor of playing football this fall.”
  • “In a 10-game all-SEC slate, teams would keep their scheduled eight conference games while adding two more teams from the opposite division. In this scenario, an SEC team would play all but three of its conference members. One athletic director described this plan as laughable. Even a nine-game conference-only schedule is getting pushback from league administrators, the AD says.”
  • “Some SEC decision-makers question the logic of a conference-only schedule. A few conference games call for long, expensive trips – such as South Carolina-Texas A&M and Florida-Missouri – while several non-conference, non-Power 5 affairs are regionalized. Auburn has a game with Southern Miss, and Mississippi State hosts Alabama A&M. South Carolina has both East Carolina and Coastal Carolina on its schedule, and Texas A&M plays North Texas.”
  • “Meanwhile, many SEC leaders are vehemently against a spring season, describing it as a “last resort” and a “fallback measure” that poses a range of issues…

There is much to figure out before the season starts
