SF Andre Wesson (Official Thread)

Article I read said if your season was shortened you get an extra year. Time will tell, but would be nice to get him back. Also might be an incentive to keep Kaleb for another year if he is on the fence.
what DZ said in the couple posts above sports where tournaments were canceled are going to be counted as a year of eligibility so basketball, hockey, wrestling to name a few, as a year gone

 he has used all 4 of his eligibility years did not quite understand how he is going to get a 5th year
Think it comes from people in Wrestling who are real upset that Spencer Lee won't have a chance to be a 4x chance. Moore from Ohio State was robbed from being a 1 time his senior year.

But to keep it fair they have to offer it to everyone. Including Andre because he didn't have a chance to win March Madness as a senior.

Is there an article? I had read the opposite.
Here is another link to a story about granting another year of eligibility to student-athletes who did not get to finish out their entire careers. I doubt if this will happen for Winter athletes but I think it is highly possible for Spring athletes.
NCAA pursuing extra eligibility for spring sports athletes affected by coronavirus cancellations
In a letter to members, the NCAA also said it would discuss relief for winter sports athletes “who were unable to participate in conference and NCAA championships.” Athletes such as men’s and women’s basketball and hockey players and wrestlers also saw their seasons and careers end with this week’s cancellations.

Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith said he definitely supported an extra semester or full year of eligibility for spring athletes. He said he had not thought through all of the ramifications for allowing that time for winter athletes, but said he would probably support that as well.

As one of the highest-revenue athletic programs in the country, however, Ohio State may be in a better position than some schools to make those accommodations.

“There are a number of considerations to take into account for the diversity of our membership," Smith said.

BUY ANDRE WESSON'S STUFF. My new favorite niche website has a new Buckeye seller and I feel an obligation to share it with you all.

If you're in the market for some new Buckeye gear, don't mind it being gently worn by a four-year letter winner and happen to be a size XL, I've got fantastic news – you can empty out Andre Wesson's closet for him.

This is the second Buckeye I've seen pop up on this site after Marcus Baugh sold his stuff a few weeks ago, and I remain committed to informing you all every time you have the opportunity to purchase a former player's laundry.

You have my word.
