SF Justin Ahrens (transfer to Loyola Marymount)

That is sort of ironic because both Bazley and Justin committed on the same unofficial visit in Matta's office. I thought that those two guys and developed a very close friendship and that was the reason they both commitmed together on the same visit.
I know they have played AAU ball together in the past but Helwagen hinted that Bazley could be looking for another team. I'm sure shoe contracts have something to do with it but that stuff is beyond me.

Sounds like Ahrens is all-Buckeye, still. Mentioned Pedon texted him right after the de-commit, I assume in regards to Butler.

“(Ohio State) got a great coach – I know they would,” Ahrens said of Holtmann. “He was at Butler before and recruited me pretty hard before I committed (to Ohio State). I went on a visit once, and he was probably the coach that sat me down in his office the longest and talked to me just about everything like style of play. I feel like I fit his style of play. If he wants me, I think we can start building a relationship.”

“I feel like Ohio State is going to get back to the top where they were when they had Aaron Craft and Jared Sullinger and all of them,” Ahrens said. “I feel like they’re going to be back to one of those teams again.”

Ahrens stated he hasn't heard from Holtmann yet, but we see some offers have already gone out to others. Hmmm...we'll see.
