What Matta said about Grandstaff: "He was one last summer when I first saw him was committed to another school. I remember watching him play and saying, 'Man, would I love to have him.' You're looking at a kid who can flat out shoot the basketball with tremendous range and he's got size to go with it. He's a gym rat, as A.J. is. Another kid that came up here, and a lot like A.J., fell in love with Ohio State for the right reasons."

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The shooter Ohio State needs will be at this year's Final Four. Only he won't be wearing Scarlet and Gray. Not yet anyway.

Austin Grandstaff, the Texas native who signed as a member of the Buckeyes' 2015 recruiting class in November, will participate in the American Family Insurance High School Three-Point Championships on March 31 in Indianapolis.
