right. its funny how the link to snopes was posted before the statements about how OBVIOUS it is that thats the GGB. theres no way you couldve looked at that picture and told me it was the GGB without knowing it first.
I would've posted it was fake but I didn't view it until this morning and when I did view it, it had already been stated by osugrad21 as a fake.

And you ask that I couldn't have known that was the Golden Gate Bridge without knowing it first? Are you really that retarded man?

If you coudln't tell that was the Golden Gate Bridge when you looked at it, you must be a short bus rider.

and this is the only bridge in the world that is red, has that design (of the 1/8th of the base tower that you can see in the picture) and has land on the side?

BS. there is no way you could have looked at that photo and told me right away that was the GGB.

your answer is yes? thats it? no proof?
What more proof do you need?

Man, you're worse than my middle school kids.

I already told you that it's the only bridge in the world painted that color. It's called Golden Gate Red.

Google the Golden Gate Bridge and tell me why I should think it is any other bridge?

It's natural for 1 of every 4 people in bridge to be a dummy:

Golden Gate Bridge Facts - Paint

* The Golden Gate Bridge's paint color is orange vermillion, also called international orange. Architect Irving Morrow selected the color because it blends with the bridge's setting
* The bridge was fully painted when it was first built and then touched up for the next 27 years. In 1965, the original paint was removed because of corrosion and replaced with a inorganic zinc silicate primer and an acrylic emulsion top coat, a project that took 30 years. Today, painters touch up the paint continuously.
* 38 painters work on the bridge, along with 17 ironworkers who replace corroding steel and rivets.
how do you say discredited in Petorian?

I don't want to be part of this pissing match, however 27 I have to agree with Thump on this one. I cannot speak for everyone else, but if you have been to the GGB and the area around it, there is no doubt by looking at the pic of what it is. I did not look at the link. I was under the impression as well that the color of the bridge is unique to the GGB.

im not in a pissing match.....i just find it extremely hard to believe that the average person can look at that picture and say "oh, thats the GGB in the background" when thats all of the bridge you can see. no doubt the GGB is a very distinguished bridge, but with the tiny portion in that picture i dont see somebody looking at that and saying its no doubt 100% the GGB....with all of the bridges there are in the world.

I also have to side with Thump on this one. Upon first look at the picture I was able to identify it as the GGB. Of course, there was a very slim chance that it was some other bridge, but based upon the color and design of the bridge and on the type of land beside it I was able to make a educated assumption with high probability of being correct. Correct enough that I would have wagered it was the GGB and I am a very risk averse individual.

International orange was renamed Golden Gate Red b/c they were the only bridge in the world to use that color.

Am I the only one that watched that show on the Bridge that can corrroborate this?

BTW, I not sure how to pronounce discredited in Petorian.
