Ok, so now that it’s official, does anyone remember how things go from here? Do we get billed directly or do we have anything else we need to do?

My understanding is whatever card you used initially to buy your reservation is going to get hit very soon with the ticket price.

One thing I don't like is that as soon as tOSU clinched it, all the lists of bids & selling prices disappeared. So, for me to sell my extras, I'll have no frame of reference that I can see on their site. Won't know if I'm too low, or whatever. Don't much like that.

If they’re charging us soon, I’m hoping that means we’ll know the row/seat # locations as well.

The website says "All tickets will be emailed to the email address associated with your ShooWin Reservations account within seventy-two (72) hours of your face value payment."

If it's like theater tickets, etc., that I've been emailed, I'd imagine the seats will be on the tickets.

Good deal. I remember reading that now that you mention it. Looking forward to it!

FYI If you haven't already, check you email. I have already received my confirmation of purchase, and the charge has already processed on my credit card.

Awkward to admit, but I think I misunderstood how Shoowin works. I thought they brokered tickets after the team was confirmed to be in the game. But, now I don't see any option to use their site in that way.

Definitely open to suggestions, as I have more tickets than I need.

I have received my emails and have been charged as well. It looks as if these will be coming through Ticketmaster, so you should still be able to put them up for resale/purchase through the Big Ten Championship event page, no? That’s a short window if we won’t have them until the end of the week, though. Especially with all the hotels being sold out or close to it.

I’m curious to see which rows/sections we’re given.

Anyone who's been there before know about the hotels in the area?

They are just like any other hotels. My advice is to get something that is walking distance from Lucas Oil. There’s a ton of things to do on game day. The B1G does a good job of hosting a nice party. It’s all pretty much walking distance from the field.

We found cancelable reservations a couple of blocks away and booked after State Penn. The wife booked ‘em so I don’t know where it is... but at this point, I’d grab what you can.

Honestly, I wasn't thinking that far ahead. It should have been obvious to book a cancelable reservation weeks ago, but I didn't.

I have one at a Marriott now that I can dump until Nov. 30th, so I can look around and maybe find a better deal.

Yeah, we just went with the Holiday Inn because it’s right by Lucas Oil. Booked right before Penn State and rooms were scarce even then.

Tickets came.

Pair are in Sec. 115, row 20, seats 1&2.

My extra may force me to go. It's closer to the end zone--117--but darn, it's first row.
Only downside to that is I could end up surrounded by the "fan" attention whores.

PS--anybody know which side of the field is tOSU's?

Section 115 is the East side, so should be behind the Buckeye bench. Looks like all three of us got section 115. Lol

Yeah, the exciting possibility of actually getting clunked in the skull by Urban's flying headset if he gets a call he doesn't like kind of sealed it for me.

I just changed my room reservation to a bed&breakfast inn (with a Jacuzzi). It's a mile+ from downtown & the stadium and was about half or less of the cost of the ones right there, but still close enough to get there easily. Got their next-to-the-last room.

Now, I'm debating about whether I want to drive or maybe fly. Haven't flown for a while. Not a fan of the TSA crap, but overall might be less stressful.

Last business now is deciding which broker I want to use to sell my extras.
