Ok, my buddy is going to this game because he writes for some online magazine. he offered to let me tag along. heres the thing, its going to cost around $300 and 1 fake-sick day from work. it will also mean hopping on a plane after a 12 hour round trip to the cinci game. is it worth it to see 2 teams that i really dont care about?

I view this like sex.

Some is good, more is better!
Someone else will have to explain that to Tibs.

As I have traveled I have had a few chances to go see some games of teams I would not normally cared about. It is still an experience and you will probably meet some friendly fans along the way.

Factor in the heat and the fact you can watch the brawl on TV and I would say no. I live here and wouldn't pay money to see either team or be subjected to their scumbag fan's. You can catch things just being near FSU people.

If it were just the $300 (a lot of money for any college football game), I would consider it, but a "fake" sick day (possibly jeopardizing your job if you get caught) and the travel would make it a "no" for me.

i just asked for a personal day a week ago to go to Six Flags. shitty part is.....it rained the whole freakin time and the superman broke down 3 times while i was either in line....getting ready to get in line.....and once i was in the seat ready to take off. that day seriously sucked.

im the new fish at work (7 months) and have already used a weeks vacation and the six flags day.

Nation,

I went to the Miami-FSU game in '02 (Wide Left 3 or 4, or whatever it was). Its definately worth the trip for a CFB fan & any heterosexual male, however, I would caution you:

a.) Don't expect the pagentry or intensity of an OSU game. The Miami fans are there to get drunk and act like white trash, not to enjoy the game. They know about College Football about as much as they know quantum physics (which ain't much, if you catch my drift). If I were you, wear neutral clothes, ignore the barbarians outside, and enjoy the game. The weather is great, and the on-field product is a sight to see.

b.) The chicks (and I cannot emphasize this enough), are incredible! They wear very skimpy clothes and look unbelivable. This is worth the trip alone. I don't know if you watch porn, but if you know who Tina Cheri is, there's about 20 chicks you'll come across outside the OB who look like her (great bod, blonde hair, big guns bobblin' out of their tops, etc.). Again, easily worth the $300.

c.) I forgot what the 3rd point was after thinking back to the chicks (that, and the fact that I have a sudden urge to pop in a Tina Cheri movie). I dunno. Go to the game.

But, you don't see the chicks on TV, my man. Read my post and think Tina Cheri:
