SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Fun stat for the day: On Nov 12, 2016, going into their matchup with unranked, 5-4 Iowa, Jim Harbaugh had them ranked #2 in the country and was sitting at 19-3 (.864) as scUM's coach. This would be the pinnacle of his tenure. They would lose that day to a mediocre Iowa team as they would drop three of their last four games. Since sitting at #2 in the country at 9-0 that November, Jim Harbrau has gone 24-13 (.649). Brady Hokes winning % at scUM? .608. Harbrau's about 1.5 games better during this stretch as of today.

During that 9-0 stretch, they were averaging 48 ppg. In the 37 games since, they've averaged 29.2 ppg.

You can almost pinpoint the day he went off his meds.

I love people who feel like their insight needs to be broadcast out to the masses. "Oh derrr I figured out da problem with Michigan......they aren't playing as a teeeeeam." Yeah, buddy. It's not the lack of talent from the players or the coaches. It's that they didn't watch the Mighty Ducks before the game and come together as one!

Man, that’s rough. I mean fuck Harbaugh but that’s a public roasting of biblical proportion. Do they have a past or anything? Not in a sexual way, but you know what I mean.

I mean I guess there could be a sexual past but that’s irrelevant.

I guess it could he relevant if Finebaum got hurt.

This turned into a weird post quick my bad

While fun to watch, on some level you just feel embarrassed for both sides.
Bullshit. Jenius Jim woulda been a History major if only Schembechler woulda let him.

A week later, Harbaugh told the Ann Arbor (Mich.) News, “I would use myself as an example. I came in there, wanted to be a history major, and I was told early on in my freshman year that I shouldn’t be, that it takes too much time, too much reading, that I shouldn’t be a history major and play football.”

Another post from MgoBlog. I like this logic. We kick his ass, they raise cash, and everybody is happy.

"Since Harbaugh arrived, the Michigan football program’s operating revenue has grown from about $97.1 million during his first in 2015-16 to nearly $125 million in 2017-18, the latest fiscal year reported. For comparison, operating revenue for football in 2007-08 — the final year under Lloyd Carr — was just $57.4 million. That number dipped some in the first year under Rich Rodriguez, but then steadily rose nearly every year after, to about $88.2 million in 2014-15, the final season under Hoke. ...

“Those who think Michigan ought to be competing for national championships find the lack of playoff appearances distressing, which makes them think Michigan is paying (Harbaugh) to get to the playoff,” said Rodney Fort, a sports management professor at Michigan.

'I think nothing could be further from the truth. They’re paying him to help generate as much revenue as could possibly be generated at the University of Michigan football program. And it would be difficult for me to think of anybody who could do it any better than he.' "

Not going to find anyone in the yellow pages who could match this.
