I think the reaction that Mattison had to one of OSU's first practices, where he was shocked to see a countdown to the Game shows that Hairball thinks the last game of the season is no different than playing any other team.

Sure... They want him on the field more... at a position that was gutted due to graduation, forgoing eligibility and transfers.... It's not a depth issue.. nope.. they just need to get this kid on the field more. I mean, he was a LB in high school, right?

"Don, don't we have someone who can play D-Line?"
"Well, you've got 160 fullbacks over there.... that Mason kid played Defense in HS"
"Well, there you go. Mason.. go practice some D-Line.... Or... work on your dance steps... whatever... everyone got their passports?"
