Since everyone hates the lakers and spurs, here's the series thread here.

Kobe went on a tear in the 4th quarter, showing why he is by far the best player in the league.

By far???

Without Gasol, he couldn't even get his team out of the first round the last couple of years. I agree he's the best, but "by far"? Let's not get crazy. The last time someone was "by far" the best player in the league, he wore 23 and won 6 championships in 8 years.

Vucjacic throwing up that 3 as the clock ran out busted the +7.5 I was getting with the Spurs costing me $220. I hope he dies in a fire tonight. I really mean that.

That's funny, well, if it makes you feel any better he'll probably get traded in the off season, he's a restricted free agent next year and odds are he's going to want more money than we can afford to give him, with Gasol, Odom, Bryant, and Bynums contact needing to be adjusted, there's not going to be a lot of money floating around for Sasha. I think they will resign Turiaf, but Sasha is doubtful.

I don't remember how home court is determined in the NBA finals. Is it based on best regular season record? head to head record? who wins the All-Star Game?

best regular season record I'm pretty sure. Almost positive the East winner will have homecourt regardless of who it is.

That's correct. And the middle three games will be in L.A. under the 2-3-2 format, which is different than all of the earlier rounds.
