I don't know if this event has been mentioned here yet, but on August 28th at Nippert Stadium, on the campus of UC, there's a full day of high school football that will feature several top recruits.

    Princeton vs. Winton Woods 10:00am
    Anderson vs. Hamilton 12:30pm
Lakewood St. Edward vs. St. Xavier 3:00pm
    Colerain vs. Elder 5:30pm
    Lebanon vs. Moeller 8:00pm

The St. Ed's v St. X game should be very intriguing (Boone v Shoenhoft). There's also the opportunity to see AMW as well as scUM commitment Mister Simpson.

    Mmmm.... Skyline Chili.

The happiest day of this past year for me was the day I found out that they'd opened a Skyline up here in this drab, nasty place. It almost feels like home now.

Edit: And no, I'm not ruled by my stomach or anything... :)

The chili alone would make the trip to Cincinnati worth it. Afraid to wear any Buckeye garb though, might get mugged by a Xavier fan.
