Troy Smith as posted today on Bucknuts: "The offense right now is one of the best in the three years I've been here. Our offensive line is doing a lot of things that people don't see or know about. They're doing things better now than in the past. We have a lot of movement now. We have offensive linemen who can flat-out run. They are 285, 290. We didn't have that versatlity before."

If you look at all the things folks were complaining about with our offense last year you'd have to say they've been addressed. If Zwick lives up to his billing, he'll be a more accurate quarterback than CK and the line is a ton more athletic. Ross and Hall are healthy and they have what should be decent back-ups.

Its great to know that we have Troy Smith waiting in the wings, just in case Zwick has a let down in his 1st two starts. Sure i agree that CK was alittle off on his throws but with the offensive line going thru hell to protect him, would'nt you be a little errant also? You have to give Krenzel some huge Kuddos for his performance the 2 years he was our General. Accuracy can be one thing, but to make the decisions to eat the ball and run like Craig did is something all of us will never forget. I didn't think any Ohio State QB would ever make me forget about Rex Kern, but CK sure did. Well at least Krenzel in my minds eye is right up there with Kern. Now we have 2 years to see what Zwick and Smith can contribute to Ohio State Laurels. And furthermore don't think for one minute that Ross and Hall will want to go out in a flourish as seniors of Ohio State football. They have alot to prove as well as much to contribute also. I wish them the greatest ever.

If everybody hates Bucknuts so much over here, as it seems, why are they always being referenced.

Honest question. I don't know what has happened in the past(although I have lurked over there for a while) between some BP members and Bucknuts so I was just wondering.
