Who here likes cigars? Any favorite smokes? favorite cheap smokes? Personally I don't think anything can top an Opus-X, but the prices reserves them for very special occasions. If you like infusions, then Kaluah cigars by Drew Estates are spectacular. As far as cheap goes, I guess the definition varies from person to person, but there are a lot of good Punch cigars for under $5 which smoke pretty nicely. Anyway, this is all in my opinion and I always like to hear about other people's cigar experiences/recommendations.

I freakin hate cigars with a passion. The worst thing in the world is sitting in a crowded bar next to 3 guys who all have the worst smelling stogies lit at the same time. I know I know that's what the non smokers say about people who smoke cigarettes.

My brother got me to try "ACID" brand cigars..... I really like them.

They have about 8 different types..... I like the "blondie" myself.

I'm not a big afficionado...but these I have tried are good. I also have a guy back home who gets all types on the cheap.... he hooked me up w/ a variety pack of about 40-50 cigars for like 30 bucks.... it was sweet. Sorry to say.... I didn't get through them all..... even giving them out to peeps...

i consider my self to be a Cigar Aficionado. I think the best Cigar in the $5 range is the CAO Gold label. I agree that the Opus-X is great, but indeed they are pricey. My personal favorite are Romeo y Julieta Cubans (brought back 15 last June), but my favorite "legal" is Partagas #10.

Cigars are great, but I don't get many chances to smoke them. A friend brought me some cuban Cohibas a while back, and I think they were the best cigar I've had. Outside of that, I like Dunhills (I think that's the one) and I had a Jamacian cigar once that was pretty good. I love smoking a cigar with some good single malt scotch or a big, juicy red wine- Cabernet or Zinfandel.

The only Acid cigar I've tried is the Atom Maduro and I think it's a great infusion. I think they usually run about 7 or 8 bucks, but it's worth it for a little change of pace.

As far as CAO goes, all I can say is WOW! The first time I smoked one it was a Brazilian wrapper and I just about fell down. I think they're great for a nice, long smoke because it's so strong you have to pace yourself. I've never tried their Gold Label, but I've been meaning to.

one of my coworkers and i smoke every wednesday during lunch at a local cigar shop in Fairlawn (Smoke Inn-great store!!)

The CAO Italia (Fat Italian) is a GREAT $6 Cigar. AVO makes great cigars. Nearly anything Cuban is great, but not all.

the best cigars are the ones you crack down the middle and fill up w/herb. i remember sitting at barrister hall one time smoking a fat blunt right at the bar and no one knew (i think). me and my boys used to do shit like that all the time...

Since When?

I always remember you smoking Swisher Sweets!

Do you smoke those after drinking your Pinot Noir?
I don't know...since I graduated in 1999 and got a job where I could afford something a lot better than those cheap-ass Swishers. You simply don't know this because you don't like smoking, hence I've never smoked them around you.

If I hadn't passed out at the bachelor party, Hammer and I would have been puffing down the cigars he brought, which are of the type I enjoy.
