What a fun game to watch, great job guys. The team is definitely heading in the right direction and I think CH is proving himself in a big way so far. KBD and Caleb Wesson are so much fun to watch. I also do not want to get too carried away with this win but my honest expectations coming into the year was maybe 2-3 wins in the NIT. I don't think it is unrealistic to think this team is capable of making the tourney and potentially winning a game or two. Obviously they have plenty of work to do and need to stay on this trajectory, but you can at least see that the pieces are there if we stay injury-free.

I'll be right there with a huge helping. I figured this team would be better coached but still a dumpster fire because of the holes on the roster. Holtmann's house should be raided for any hex bags he might have lying around. What he's doing right now is nothing short of sorcery.

I would have thought the ceiling was 15 wins.

If you look at the computers, this is not a top 35 team on offense or defense. There is a lot that can happen to a thin team before March.

They need to get by Maryland before let myself believe that 20 wins is likely.

Like I said during the game, I didn't care if they won because they had tasted what it felt like to dominate #1. They were very lucky, I know, with every shot falling, but they won that game. They hustled up and down the floor like they were there to win. They had respect for their opponent and themselves.

They will think of themselves differently now. It's going to be fun to watch.

I still maintain that Loving’s soul was taken from him during the D.Russ era suspension. That’s the only way to explain that sort of drop off. I think Holtmann would have lit the fire under his ass that Thad couldn’t.
