Sports 'journalists' (Who Don't Work For ESPN)

I think they'd shit their pants against a team like Clemson....who looks like they have started to wake up.

I think Wiscy would be a rude awakening for Clemson. They do this frequently in their bowl games against over-rated soft Sunshine teams. Especially when it's an up year like this.
They play the exact kind of brutal manball that Harbaugh wishes he had... and it's a system that just keeps rolling. Everyone talking about Taylor, but they got 2 more RBs behind him that will step in. I respect the machine Alvarez has created using mostly 3star talent and grit. I'd wager their recruiting analysis leans a lot on grading mentality and toughness.
Just don't send them to the Rose Bowl.

Regarding Klatt:

1. He’s totally pumping up OSU and the BIG for FOX as part of their war against SECSPN. It’s propaganda, but in light of the other side’s propaganda, I’ll take it.

2. I generally like him when he does games, but he has a bad game with too much breathless Herbieness about every fourth or fifth game.

3. He is increasingly getting too prone to hottakeitis and the related malady of thinking he’s the show and not just a conduit to bring the show to the fans.

There's never agreement on whether the ratings reflect who's best, or who's most deserving. This uncertainty continues to the playoff committee, who don't themselves seem to know which one they're supposed to vote for.

They're seldom the same thing.

Very true. I've always sided with most deserving, because it's based more on actual results instead of hype. When these ass clowns in the media think scUM is the best team in the B1G, that's enough reason to not go based off who they think are the best teams in America.

I dont think we will really know if Clemson has "woken up" until the playoff, if they avoid that crap loss on the way. The competition they have left is just that bad.

In Saturday's LSU/Miss St game, Gary Danielson made a comment about how much nicer it is for Joe Burrow to be playing for LSU than it would be if he were still playing in that "Tressel offense".

Gary Danielson Apparently Still Thinks Jim Tressel Is Ohio State’s Head Coach

SEC on CBS announcer Gary Danielson isn’t the most well-liked commentator in the game. One of his comments during Saturday’s LSU vs. Mississippi State game is a good example of why.

Danielson, after LSU quarterback Joe Burrow threw a touchdown pass, joked that Burrow isn’t playing in the “old Jim Tressel offense” he left at Ohio State.

“If Joe Burrow had stayed at Ohio State, what if he was playing in the old Buckeye Jim Tressel offense? This is a little different!”

Jim Tressel resigned as Ohio State’s coach back in 2011. Luke Fickell took over for a year. Urban Meyer then coached the Buckeyes until this past December. Ryan Day is the head coach now.

It’s possible that he knows Tressel isn’t at Ohio State anymore, and somehow was just implying that the Buckeyes play a different style than LSU. But Ohio State’s offense has been far more dynamic than LSU’s the past few years, so that doesn’t really make sense either.

LSU, meanwhile, is having its way with Mississippi State. It’s 36-7 in the third quarter.

Danielson will likely have to explain this one after the contest.

No, there's no SEC bias in the media, is there?
