Spring Game Tickets Now On Sale!

How packed is the seating at the spring game? Since there are less people, does everyone pack in the rows as tightly? I'm asking because I'd like to take a zoom lens and a camera, but I don't want to do this if I know the crowd is gonna be tight packed and bump me during photos, let alone allow me to use a tripod.

i was thinking we hit 60 or even 70k for the 98 spring game when we were preseason #1.

i wouldn't bring a tripod with hopes of using it and having good seats. you can use it but to have it take up prime seats of buckeye fans wont happen. maybe one of those one pole deals or the tripod folded up would work. honestly though, i would rely on your zoom and get away from the crowd. just think about how high of an angle you want to be shooting from. i love the low angle NFL films style shit, but everyone has their own preferences.

If I remember correectly from last year, the good seats were packed, C-deck was sparsely populated and the south stands were completely empty.
Good to know, maybe I'll just run down there and shoot out of the end zone when one team starts a possession within 60 yards of me or so. I'd prefer the low angle too.

Also, do they sell DVDs of the spring game? Otherwise, it might be cool to get someone to record the game from a higher seat and have them produce DVDs of it (you could make some for a few key individuals that could reproduce them for teh rest of us). Just a thought as it might be a fun thing to have to watch until the fall rolls around, especially for those unable to make it to the game.

And we might run into less trouble with copyrights if we're reproducing a non-ABC game. Obviously tOSU could probably technically get mad at us, but I see the chances of that being slim when they have more important priorities like people pirating actual season games.

The most exciting thought about the spring game is that unlike during the season, I would imagine the coaches would test Ginn at corner a bit, since there won't be any offensive players taht are going to take cheapshots on him.
