It's tough because everyone isn't so closely packed together, the stadium seems pretty full, but people are more spread out.

Does anyone know how strict they are about cameras? I'm not gonna be bringing in a professional level telephoto lens or anything, but maybe just a zoom lens and a digital rebel slr. I could always stick them in a backpack if ncessary.

Bring a Unipod, not a tripod, to the game; much easier to carry around and less intrusive on the people around you. You can buy one from Cord camera for around $20.

I think they'll be 50k+ at the stadium this year.

You should be OK with a camera bag. I have brought my video camera and a regular camera the past several years to the SG.

If their were 50k fans it sure as hell didnt look like it. I left at half time becuase of how boring it was. Their was one play where Hawk had to let up otherwise he would of murdered trombiatis or zwick I cant remember which.

If you are planning on going to this make sure you stop by the BP tailgate.
Also there are BP shirts on sale and available for pickup at the game.
