Happy to see San Antone taking it to them...but why the F does it take 2 weeks to play a series? Uh...hello...these are grown men who are paid to play basketball, I don't think 4 games in a week will stress them to much.



I miss the Worthy, Magic, Kareem, Byron days. At least then I could hate the Lakers but still repect them as a team.

wasn't Chuck Nevitt a Laker? The ultimate 12th man....


I believe Nevitt did play for the Lakers during his stellar NBA career.


If I recall correctly, he also played for Detroit and Houston, where he was an integral part of the Triple Towers (Sampson, Nevitt and Olajuwon).

Yeah, he was in Detroit too during the title years, I think...lucky bastard made more playoff games without ever playing than anyone in history (Granville Waiters was a minute-eating machine by comparison).

I was a Pistons fan growing up and I can tell you that Nevitt was NOT on the championship teams. Scott Hastings another famous 12th man was on one of them though.
