Spurs-Suns First round series

They need to forget about games 1 and 2...get their heads out their asses and win games 3 and 4 in Phoenix. They have the leadership and experience, so it's time to use their heads and play 48 mins of ball. They win games 3 and 4, then they take momentum and it's a 3 game series. Then it would be all about winning 1 in SA and game 5 in Phx. Don't follow the history here of % of teams that have won series in these situations, there's too much All-Pro caliber players in this series...anything can happen, Suns won 3/4 over the season.... it's time to step it up.

i just posted the same thing over in the suns thread. take the next 2 and steal game 5 and they are back in the driver's seat. i truly believe the suns are the better team, talent wise anyway, they just have to get over the Spurs mystique and play like it.

Such a ugly display of basketball down the stretch by the Suns...They lost this game...The Spurs weren't hitting shots down the stretch and the Suns had possessions to push this game out...Nash with 3 turnovers and Diaw with an ugly pass...

Then still the Spurs left the door open by Ginobli missing a free throw, and even tho Bowen was holding Nash and pushing his back, and the ball didn't actually go off Nash they threw the game away...

Nash's window is just about closed, and wonder just how hot Dantoni's seat is after tonight...

I put this loss on Nash... He is an embarassment, plays so damn reckless all the time. Not the player he was the last 2 seasons. Turnovers and forced shots, who does he think he is?...what a joke. San Antonio are a bunch of pussies fouling Shaq the whole series...play some damn basketball. D'Antonio fired soon enough... new offense and defense next year.

I'll never understand giving away their competitive advantage by trading for Shaq. The Suns should have won the championship last year, and Steve Kerr out-thunk the room to try and improve an already great team.

Suns need new look, and new coach
D'Antoni a great regular season coach who has yet to deliver in playoffs

Mike D?Antoni is looking more and more like the NBA?s answer to Marty Schottenheimer ? a great regular season coach who can?t win when it matters. Schottenheimer?s shortcoming ultimately cost him every job he ever held. You have to figure D?Antoni is heading down that same road.

It?s not easy to suggest that anyone as successful as D?Antoni ? or Schottenheimer ? should be fired. In D?Antoni?s four full seasons in Phoenix, he?s brought excitement to Phoenix and a highly entertaining brand of up-tempo basketball to the NBA. He?s finished first in the West once and been to the conference finals twice.

What was their "competitive advantage"???? Don't jump on the bash Shaq bandwagon...that's BS. He brought what he was supposed to, an inside precense. Playing bullsh*t ball is why they lost... Nash is why they lost, ok? And just to get it correct... Robert Sarver, the owner, made the deal with Mickey Arison (owner of the Heat), and he sat down with Nash, D'Antonio and Kerr.

That "already great" team didn't make it happen.

Suns will fire D'Antonio and draft their future point guard with their top 20 pick.

Ridiculous. And every writer/sports commentator/analyst who says Dantonio should be fired is a MORON. The guy got fucked in 2006-07. THEY WERE BETTER THAN THE SPURS LAST YEAR. THEY GOT FUCKED.

If they beat the Spurs last year, they are the champions.

If you don't know what there "competitive advantage" was, then you don't know basketball.
