St. Louis Cardinals (11x World Series Champions)

That was one of the most exciting games I've seen in any sport.
The last two innings were amazing. I'm glad for ML Baseball. It is still the best sport for creating tension over a long period of time. When it is Series time, each pitch is heart pounding. Hard to believe that they were one pitch from losing - several times.

The guy who caught Freese's Home Run ball last night was allowed to go back into the clubhouse because he wanted to give the ball to Freese. (I would have sold that junk for the cash, but that's a different story) But check out the dude he was at the game with

Texas is toast. Their only hope is a miraculous complete game shut out by Harrison. No one in that bull pen wants any part of it as we saw last night. They're not up to it. Worthless bastards.

I don't understand why the Cards are trotting their best pitcher back out on 3 days rest and the Rangers aren't. CJ Wilson gives them their best chance to win IMO. Harrison got frigging bombarded in game 3. I don't agree with this decision at all..........

You don't understand why the cards are trotting their ace out there and you don't understand why the Rangers aren't using their Ace? What exactly are you confused about?

Have you seen some of the decisions Washington has been making? I'm betting he's back on the yayo...

Washington said after game five that he would start Harrison tonight if it came to that. He was asked if he would consider using Wilson again and he was adamant in saying no. The next hour or two will tells us which manager made the right decision.

I think Carpenter is much more of an "ace" than Wilson and predicted Carpenter would be the difference in the series (earlier in this thread). We'll find out if that is the case soon enough, too. I'm rooting for Harrison and hope Carpenter doesn't have it tonight.
