Heavy graduation this year. Just wondering if some could post ideas over who replaces the many starters that have moved on. Thank you in advance.

    Go Buckeyes !

The O-Zone does a really good job on these things.

    Some roster observations/intrigues:

    1) Who will be the backup QB will be really interesting. The guy who has been the longest in the program vs. the young stud from a year ago vs. the latest cause of excitement. I don't see anyone transferring in here with JT having 2 more years of eligibility. QBs generally transfer in to have a shot to start. I would be very surprised if a QB like Kyle Allen would come here, but stranger things have happened.

    2) OSU is surprisingly thin at RB if you take Samuel out of the picture. Weber would probably be the favorite based more on what we haven't seen from Dunn, McCall, and Williams. Can't have any injuries here to have a "pair and a spare". If there are, Samuel might find himself back there more. Zeke was remarkably durable. Most RB's aren't, so this concerns me.

    3) I think the TE position looks good. Baugh looks like he has his on and off field life in order, and it's his time to be the guy. Everyone expects Hausmann to be on the field, but I'm looking forward to what Berry and Alexander can do. Outside of Baugh, they are very young, but have some depth with 6 total TE's (if all 3 frosh sign).

    4) They should be pretty solid in the kicking game with Johnston and Nueremberger back. Sean needs to get his make pct up. Cameron just needs to keep doing what he has been doing.

    5) They have a ton of receivers, but very little experience. Noah Brown is a pretty sure thing (and Samuel if including the H back in this). If Wilson and Dixon can get and stay healthy that would really help. I've been a fan of McClaurin and Campbell, and they have an opportunity coming up. Hill, Stump, and Gibson are intriguing. Mack and Victor may have a chance to get on the field. There are a lot of great athletes in the group.

    6) It's impossible to project offensive line when almost all of them play 2 positions. Elflein and Price are definites. The rest - I have no idea. My favorites, based on limited knowledge, are Burrell, Jones, Knox, and Prince. But Feder, Lisle, Schmidt, Taylor, and Trout could be just as good. Whoever the 3 that start are, I'm sure they will have earned it. The competition is going to be fierce.

    7) I think they are in pretty good shape at CB with Conley on the one side. There are up to 9 highly recruited guys who could win the job. I'm thinking Lattimore or Webb - with the other getting the nickel.

    8) I’m a little concerned about safety depth. Cam Burrows and Erik Smith would be likely to start with Malik Hooker adding depth. They might have to steal a big CB (Arnett?) or a lean LB (Worley?) to get some depth back there.

    9) Thank God big Kwon is back to solidify the middle. There are lots of young and talented guys available for those other 2 LB spots. Conner is just a great football player. I love Baker and Booker’s athleticism. Hilliard is supposed to be great. I have to pull for any guy named “Tuf”, and Jones is a top rated guy.

    10) Ohio State is in good shape at DE with Lewis and Hubbard. Not sure about the DT’s. I would give Hill, Munger, and “Grown & Sexy” the inside track, but maybe one of the young fellas will show. It will be interesting to see what they do with Nick Bosa if he’s healthy. If he is, as they say, better at this stage than his brother, he will need to play.

RB might look thin on paper, but when you figure that any of the 3 at H-Back (Samuel, Wilson, McCall) can come in and contribute at the position if we have an injury, we'll be just fine

I'm worried about depth at safety, though I'd long suspected Arnett would get a look there and didn't realize EGW saw time there backing up Vonn Bell. Gonna be some pressure on the staff to make sure Wint develops if he ends up being the only safety we bring in in this class

LB depth isn't what it should be either (esp. when you factor in Kyle Berger's injury problems), though ozone left off Joe Burger and Craig Fada who are now seniors on scholarship. Plenty of talent, but not a lot of bodies. Makes Keandre Jones' recent verbal look like a God-send. Gotta think both safety and LB are going to be two major focuses for recruiting in 2017

I would like to believe that Urban knows - or at least has an idea. If he doesn't, I choose to believe he does anyway because I'm neurotic and it makes me feel better.
