Storm Chaser...Crazy or u decide

Mother Nature

You don't mess with Mother Nature. She can be a very vindictive mistress.

One time on a golf course, I told the rest of the foursome during a thunderstorm: Lightning never strikes me. I raised my iron up to the sky. Then lightning struck a tree very close by. Too close for comfort.

We then went in to the clubhouse and drank a few.

Recent live video of a tornado in Wyoming from VORTEX 2 as seen on the Weather Channel:

Background info on VORTEX 2:

I saw that - it was a great shot when the tornado twisted and they got video of the inside of the funnel's top.

I always enjoy these shows and watched a 2 hour episode of StormChasers Gretatest Storms" last night. Then the premiere for the new season came on. What a bunch of douchebags these guys are. They show more footage of the back of these guys' heads and of them talking than they do of the storms. The actual show sucks.

Fuck. I know that show isn't the best, but I still wanted to see it. Stuff like this is awesome.

I actually wanted to tag along with some chasers over the summer and do a story about it, but the whole not having a job for six or seven months pretty much eliminated all money needed to travel. Had to pay rent and bills. :(
