Kris was gracious enough to give the BP Recruiting Team a few minutes of time for a little insight into his recruitment thus far and his thoughts on his skills.

1) When you think of Ohio State football, what comes to mind?

KO: Winning. There are only about five (5) schools in the nation that have the aura and tradition of winning like Ohio State.

2) Which coach is in charge of your recruiting?

KO: At this point, I really don't have a particular coach recruiting me.

3) This is your senior year, what goals have you set personally and for your team?

KO: Off the field: Keep the grades up, and increase my strength. On the field: Allow no sacks. 100 or more pancake and knockdown blocks.

4) When your career is over, how would you like people to remember Kristofer O’Dowd?

KO: A great player and teammate.

5) If you were analyzing yourself on film, what would you list as your strengths and what needs some work?

KO: Strengths: I am a very good run and pass blocker. My quickness and athleticism for someone my size is my greatest strength.
Weaknesses: I can always get stronger and learn more technique.

6) Run block or Pass block? Pull or down block?

KO: It's all good to me.

Look for big things from this big man.

Great work by the BP team. It also sounds like Kris is a perfect OSU-Tressel type recruit and we have a huge need at OL, so hopefully we can get him.
