However, The BP Recruiting Team had a chance to speak with the versatile playmaker from Copley regarding these stories. David's father, Frank Pangas, grew up in northeast Ohio before attending Eastern Michigan University. There, he met David's mother and they raised young David in Ann Arbor for twelve years before returning to northeast Ohio. While David's youth was filled with an overdose of Wolverine, he quickly realized what The Ohio State University could offer. He has been extremely impressed with the games he has attended in Columbus and has enjoyed meeting each of the Buckeye coaches. While the Buckeyes have yet to offer a scholarship, David is hoping that will change after the Senior Advanced Camp on June 23rd. The BP Recruiting Team caught up with David to discuss his thoughts concerning The Ohio State University and his life outside of football.

1) When you think of Ohio State football, what comes to mind?

DA: Tradition, winning, best fans and really good band. (70,000+ at a spring game)

2) What position would you prefer to play in college and why?

DA: Wherever I can play and excel.

3) This is your senior year...what goals have you set personally and for your team?

DA: I want to get stronger and just improve in every area and help my team make the playoffs for all 3 years that I’ve been a starter.<img align=right height=170 width=140 src="http://www.davidarnoldchs.com/images/dj_bj_05.jpg" border="1" Hspace="12" Vspace="6">

4) When your career is over, how would you like people to remember David Arnold?

DA: I want to be remembered as one of the best athletes and persons that they have ever met... as someone that they would want their son to emulate.

5) If you were analyzing yourself on film, what would you list as your strengths and what needs some work?

DA: Strengths: speed, intelligence, excellent hands, size, being in the right place at all times

Needs some work: strength and making more game changing plays

6) What are some of your favorite things to do away from football?

DA: I enjoy playing video games with friends, playing with my brother, spending time with parents, running track, spending time chatting online with friends, and listening to music.
