usually in the spring tickets go on sale for students... if you are going to be a freshman you will be put in a lottery (ie, good luck getting tickets).

They seperate the season as to when the students are out of school and when they are in school (not ooc vrs. big ten). The in school portion is on a single card, the ooc games are single tickets. You apply for them at the same time, on the same form.

Actually as far as I know the freshmen haven't been in a lottery for awhile (at least the past 5 years).
Yeah I will be a junior next year and my friend will be a freshmen starting in the spring.. I transferred from BG to the Lima Branch last year and went spring quarter and had no problem getting tickets to the conference games, I just didnt remember when they went on sale.

Still waiting on an answer about block O if anyone has any idea.

Also how many student tickets will be sold for Texas. Will there be enough to go around.

Freshmen aren't in a lottery I don't think. Just order them before the deadline (second week of June I think) and you'll be fine. Tickets are available in April (forgot the exact date). To get into Block O make sure you 1) Get on to hangonsloopy.com EARLY (read: first few days) and 2) While buying the student tickets, specify that you want to sit in Block O. Its that simple.

As far as student tickets for out of conference games (Miami, Texas, SD St.) they become available in the late summer. You buy each ticket separately for $27 a pop, tickets for students are on a first come first serve basis. Get online as early as possible and you might be able to score some good seats. Thats how I got 11AA row 2 for the cinci and marshall games last year (got up at 7:00 AM and hammered the website). My guess is that tickets for the Texas game will be in tight supply for students, but hopefully they alot a certain number for students for each out of conference game.

Guess I'm showing my age... sorry, though freshman were in a lottery (when I was in college there was a lottery at OSU... granted OU didn't have that issue to deal with... any student was welcome into the stadium free of charge)...

Do you have to go to block O meetings?
I don't know why you'd want to sit in Block O. They always had the worst seats in the house and had to stare straight into the sun for most of the day hastening post game hangovers by a factor of 3.

After freshman year I was always able to get seats between the 35s and half way up C Deck ('cause I ran up to Columbus the same day the mailman delivered my fee cards). Do they let students anywhere near good seats like that anymore?

Block O is now in the South Stands and the students are in the shade most of the time.
