Lately the people that our company has been hiring seem to be incredibly book smart but lack the common sense skills to the point that you question how they can drive to work without hurting themselves, or anyone else. My Latest is one lady that i showed how to do something, she took notes and wrote down exactly step by step how to do it. Later that week she called me with questions on how to do it, i said "well look at your notes" and she said that she was getting confused by them.

Now I know that we have all new employees take a personality test to see how they will fit in with the people they work with, but i think we need to add one simple test....

Lock them into a room with 2 keys, and if they try the wrong key more than 1 time, dont hire them.
 
I have noticed the same thing. My company seems to be on a "top MBA" kick lately. They're hiring a lot of people right out of MBA school with names like Wharton, Kellog, Yale, Duke, etc. on their resumes. A lot of these people start out in a consulting role of sorts, and they come to our business operations and try to tell us how to run things.

I haven't met one yet that impresses me. They're not idiots, but I haven't really seen anything out of anyone that separates them from someone with a "normal" MBA. Booksmart people are frequently lacking in the common sense area, in my opinion.

I've always wondered why all colleges and high schools don't teach a "Common Sense" course.

You know, things like why you should put the toilet paper on the roll so it rolls over and not under.

Cool shit like that you know.

It's supposed to be over.

If you put it under, the paper just hangs off. By putting it over you have the actual roll to tear against when trying to wipe after that nasty dump.

What doesnt Piss you off? You have more pet pev's then everyone i know combined....


But the lady he is talking about is annoying as hell...

I cant even handle her and I am pretty easy going

So i see him at work and all the family functions...

and I am contantly telling him to wash his sack..



HE's a good guy though he is the one that turned me from a scum/fsu fan to a tOSU...
