Hating the environment since 1994
    • I thought it wasn't too bad. I'm not a big Beatles or McCartney guy but I thought he did pretty good.

    McCartney also scores big bonus points with me for singing live and not lip-synching.

    Overall, a pretty good show.
     
    I avoided the halfttime show. But I did see Homer Simpson flood the field at halftime a little later.

    He got booed like Ashley Simpson at the Orange Bowl.

    I think it's not fair that they have to have pussy music at the super bowl every year. How bout some Slipknot or Mudvayne or something. I can just see all the lawsuits now from old people who have heart attacks :)

    Sir Paul has more talent in his little finger than Janet Jackson has in both breasts! Seriously, though, what a great, no frills set of music. Cool stage, real band/live music and Sir Paul. As it's already been stated, this show was 1,000 times better than the 'flashy' pop crap we're usually dealt. :biggrin:
