where in toledo did you live? i grew up and lived mostly in sylvania. went to southview and maumee valley...actually got booted out of MVCDS my sr. year..those bastards...(i'm class of '92 btw)

but yeah, if you grow up in toledo, channel 50'll make you into a detroit sports fan. i always liked the Lions and red wings but hated the pistons. tigers were eh. you should see all the scUM flags flying in toledo on game day...pathetic! but atleast you'll see just as many OSU flags too....

also i was born in jersey too......new brunswick...

I went to Bowsher (alma mater of Dennis Hopson) and lived near St. Johns actually. I was born in Old Bridge, NJ which I think it's too far from News Brunswick. Maybe that explains our mutual obsession with singing homeless people.

Boston gets dumbed down a spot because of the delusional-bipolar-paranoid-maniacal lunacy of its sports fans.

Will Hunting can only offset so many Buckner Bashers.

Columbus (19) ranked much higher than Michigan's highest, Grand Rapids (45).

I didn't see little ol' Wilmington, DE on the list, but we're stuck between Baltimore (C-) and Philly (D). We've got stupid neighbors....

Boy Skins, Cooks Rabbit in Class
<!-- IMAGE -->January 21, 2005 8:34 PM EST
THOMPSON, Ohio - A high school principal said guidelines for a living skills class will be changed after a 16-year-old student skinned and cooked a Guinea pig and a rabbit during class.

The animals were purchased at a pet store and prepared at Ledgemont High School, located about 35 miles northeast of Cleveland, on Wednesday.

Officials at the Thompson Township Police Department and Geauga Humane Society said they received complaints from students and parents and they are investigating.

"Something irrational and wrong happened," said Geauga Humane Officer Sarah Westman.

Westman said the incident may warrant animal cruelty charges.

Ledgemont Principal Beto Gage said misjudgments occurred but the boy's actions are not criminal. Gage said the student, whose name was not released, is an active hunter.

The 16-year-old told Gage he killed the animals at home before bringing them to school Wednesday. Gage said his living skills teacher, Diana Stevens, lets students prepare a meal of their choice on that day.

The student had asked Stevens if he could catch and cook a wild rabbit and she approved, provided he gut the carcass before class, Gage said.

The other students in his class who didn't want to watch were allowed to go into another room, Gage said.

It's true....its true....

Some of the biggest idiots I have ever met are from this hell on earth known as Cleveland...unfortunately, most work in my office.

I don't think it is a coincidence that three of the four people in my current office of 23 staff members whom I don't consider to be complete morons are from other cities. Everyone else in the office in from this stinking hole.
