He reminds me of Deshawn Jackson a little. I havent seen this thread near the top so this is the first time I'm aware of this young man. Anytime a HIGHLIGHT reel is over 10 minutes long you know the player is very talented, here's hoping we get Taivon.

I haven't seen him mentioned in a while. I wonder if we cooled on him and went after other players instead. He'd be a great addition in the slot in our new offense. I think he and quick are comparable players. Get them the ball in space and watch them work. I may be wrong though, opinions

Is there a chance he pulls the trigger for us soon?

This one baffles me. I'm not sure the staff would take his verbal right now with Allen and others still in the mix.

Why not, IMO, he is better than anyone we are currently recruiting outside of Foster.

I'm not sure I agree with that statement. You might be right, but I'm not ready to say that about Jacobs.

I'm with you. Great athlete, but I think we take 2 more WR's and frankly, I would think the staff would have Foster, Gibson, and Allen ahead of maybe Lavonte Whitfield/Cornelius Elder. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Jacobs in this class but I saw the offer as contingent upon what the aforementioned WRs do.

That may very well be true, but I feel Meyer wants more of a guy who can score from any position and any part on the field. IMO, we have enough route runners, we need gamebreakers that's when we become a juggernaut.

Remember, this isn't the standard offense we are used to, we need guys like Taivon Austin, Jeff Demps,Ted Ginn, Percy Harvin to make this offense work.

Say all these guys want in, I would think Gibson is the odd man out. Foster and Allen are better pure WRs & Jacobs, Whitfield, and Elder are all more dynamic playmakers that can score at any time.
