Taivon Jacobs (Maryland WR)

This may be a rough comparison, but he looks a bit like Deviar Posey meets the burst of Teddy Ginn on ST's. I'm not saying he's as fast as Ginn was, but he's got some excellent field vision, good moves, and a nice speed burst. Glad the Bucks were able to get the commit.

Oh yeah, and...

Nice! Thought it was going to be the Terps, but I'll gladly be wrong with this one lol. Welcome to The Family, Taivon!!!

Taivon is the real deal. Anyone who has a chance to, watch his film. He's got a gear few people have and has great hands. Averaged 26 yds a catch last year and has a 3.3 gpa. A pure playmaker that could be used in a few different roles on this team. Hard not to like this kid. Looking forward to who we can pair him up with in this class.

Welcome to the Buckeye Family Taivon!

Updated: July 19, 2012

Recruit No. 15 in Ohio State's 2013 class arrived in a flash Thursday morning when wide receiver Taivon Jacobs (Forestville, Md./Suitland) announced his decision to play for Ohio State.

"I just felt like that was the place for me to be at," Jacobs said. "It was my dream school. I fit into their offensive program. I believe that's where I'm going to make my [name] at.

"The education is great and they have a great backup plan for me in case I do have an outstanding junior year."
