Tajh Boyd (official thread)

Last year's starting QB, Kyle Parker, did an interview on College Football Live today about his upcoming decision to play college football or professional baseball (26th overall pick in the draft). It sounded to me like he's gone. Boyd's next in line for the job, and for all I know he could have already been pushing for the starting job this spring, making Parker's decision that much easier.

This is great news for Tahj. I'm happy things seem to be working out for him. As excited as I got about the possibility of him being a Buckeye, I think this has worked out well for both parties. He'll undoubtedly get more snaps there than he would have here.

To be honest, I still have a bitter taste about the way he handled things at the end of his recruitment, but you're right--it's looking like if playing time was most important to him, he's where he needs to be.

The whole way that Boyd changed his mind looked shadey. Wasn't there a rumor of a "street agent"?
You don't know what he was promised to go to Clemson. Maybe they told him the job would be his just to get him on campus.
