Taver Johnson (DB Coach Oakland Raiders)

The CB's not turning turning their heads to find the ball is not new. It happened too frequently last year while Coombs was here.
People really need to get over that, particularly when recent targets of this criticism have been back to back rookies in the pro bowl. If Herbie says it all the time, think twice about repeating it.

The current problem is talent outside of okudah (until Wade moves back full time to corner).

Arnette and Sheffield struggle with many different parts of playing the position and are often not comfortable trusting their technique.

None of this is intended as a rebuttal of the Taver criticism

Don’t know why okudah hasn’t beat out Arnette yet.

Thank You

Pete Werner executed that same technique to perfection early in The Game and it made a huge play. Coombs taught the same technique.

Arnette and Sheffield just aren't as good as what we have seen at CB for the past few years.

It isn't anything mystical.

Okudah making plays... Sheff pretty good today too.
Restoring some of my faith in Taver.
I lost all faith in Taver in the 2nd half when we made Browning look like Elway. So many plays made in wide open space, or guys playing so far away from the WRs . Lack of aggression in the back end, too much allowing the opposing pass game to dictate the game
