Why would Tressel want to put a fence around Arizona? Isn't he trying to get in?

Hence why he only made it out of cotton and twigs... so he could use the illusion of a fence to outisde, prying eyes, but deep down inside KNOW that he can go in and out of the state with ease.

That's probably what tOSU fans were saying after Joe Germaine! :wink2:

The reality is that Arizona hasn't been a big high school football state. Now that the population has greatly increased, the level of high school football is rising quickly. Arizona will be producing more top notch talent on a consistent basis and I'm sure tOSU will sniper a few, but I'm hoping a majority of them play in-state (not UofA).

i was going to say something along those lines. there have been 3 guys in the past year that have made it on this board. that's probably 3 more than have made it since i graduated in 2000. it definitely seems to be picking up at a very fast pace.

I think Phoenix is about the 5th biggest city in the nation now. Add that with warm weather so kids can practice year round and the talent will get better. I'm hoping that directly impacts ASU's football team, but that is if they can get the good ones to stay home. I expect big things from Arizona high school football and it will only get better and you will see more guys on tOSU's radar.
