Tay"LLLL"or "LLLL"ewan (douchebag)

I think he went to Mesa Mountain View for high school and then Scottsdale Community College.

Baseball is big in AZ, but football is getting big too. You'd probably freak out at how many high school's are in AZ these days. They seem to be on every corner - big one's too.

Another thing that is helping AZ sports is a lot of athletes live in AZ or retire in AZ when they are done playing sports. Then their kids grow up to be studs. At least the AZ Cardinals are good for something - pumping out future 5*'s.

Can we please get the discussion back on Taylor Lewan? I am tired of every AZ recruit thread turning into a debate about which state is better, what team is better, who college campus is better, etc. And the fact of the matter is it is OSU fans that are typically taking the conversation off-course...not reagdog. If you think you are helping your team's cause here on BuckeyePlanet, be you ASU fan or OSU fan, you are sorely mistaken. These staffs don't need your help conveying the positives of life in Tempe/Columbus and the value of a degree from ASU/OSU. Seeing people beg a kid to go to ASU/OSU/Columbus State/Havana University really makes me uncomfortable and is in direct violation of rule #6 of the recruiting forum rules...

Lewan now has 16 offers and is the 3rd highest ranked player in AZ behind Devon Kennard and Corey Adams. He jumped ahead of his buddy and UM commmit Craig Roh.

Lewan said he might visit Minnesota (11/21), Michigan and Oregon. Has already visited ASU unofficially.

The guy is a beast if you watch his video.
Not stating any favorites at this point.

Another offer from Oklahoma State. This guy needs to narrow his list down. He's got 18 offers and won't name any favorites.

Here they are:

Missouri, Colorado, Miami, UCLA, UNLV, Michigan, Washington State, Wisconsin, Oregon State, Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, Nevada, Utah State, Oregon, Minnesota and Cal

Is tOSU going to offer this guy too? Do I hear 19 offers?

He has quite the range of offers, everything from from really big time offers such as UCLA, and Miami all the way down to bottom of the barrel offers such as Utah State, Arizona State, and Nevada.

Scout $

11/17

From the Miami site. Lewan is still looking at all the schools who have offered and claims no leader. He will visit Minnesota this weekend, and talks a bit about his recent offer from Miami.

How can you be interested in 18 different schools? Seriously!! Cut the list and let schools that aren't in it move on to other priorities.

Maybe he has and is just not going public with the info. He's not obligated to tell the press anything about his selection process.

I understand he doesn't HAVE to tell anyone what he is thinking, but if he's really only debating between 4 or 5 schools, then let the other 13 or 14 schools know so they can try and get other OL recruits and not wait around for him if there is no hope.

Plus, I'm sure his high school football coach would rather have 4 or 5 schools calling him instead of 18. His high school coach made Craig Roh narrow his list down because he was sick of dealing with all the calls. I'm surprised he hasn't made Lewan do the same thing.
