Even as we speak. Izzy's assult charge, no Byers, Drew Carter's leg. Not the best day for OSU. Cest la vie.

Edit: If Izzy goes to the joint, maybe he'll learn to catch a damn pass.

If these allegations are true, LI is in big trouble in more ways than one.
    His football career
    Student discipline
  3. Are there any details out yet? I know that assault charges were filed but I haven't heard anything other than he was suspened.

He may "catch" something in prison, but it won't be with his hands.

    Izzy looked good

Was anyone else relieved to see Izzy catching passes with regularity? He may turn out to be as good as advertised. Having a versatile TE could really benefit our offense. IMHO Hartsock was the best player on the offense through much of the season. Without someone to help fill his shoes we could be hurting. I was also pretty happy with Ross's play. He seemed to have a good portion of his game back. He ran with some authority before they took him out.

I think Hamby will be the main man at TE this year but LI can add a dimension to the offense few other tight ends can with his speed and athleticism. Now if he can just catch the ball

Yeah, what happened to Ryan Hamby? Did he not play the last 26 games, and play them well?

no offense....but ross was still running with his head down.....the same plays pittman bounced outside for big gains....ross stuck his head up a linemans ass again for two yards instead of the nine or more pittman ran for.....

The least Ross could do would be to put some Preparation-H on his helmet in case any of the O-lineman had any hemorrhoidal problems

All kidding aside it would be great if Lydell steps up this year. He's a good kid and I'm rooting for him but it's nice to know there are some other guys ready to get some carries.

Hamby has been playing well. My point was that Irazzary(sp) could hold on to a ball if you super glued it to his hands last season. It was nice to see him making catches. If he can do that during the season it will help out the new Oline, take a little pressure off of them. My glass is half full.

First comment on Izzy........give the kid a break, he dropped a few passes last year, who doesnt when they are true freshman? By some of the comments you would have thought he didnt deserve a scholie! The guy will be fine, some of you buckeye fans are so critical of every mistake.

Second comment on could you even tell if he improved, he only carried the ball 5 times! Spring game doesnt mean anything, he will break out this year because is o-line wont be knocked back 5 yards before he gets the ball!

being critical is everyones right, but lets be sure it is warranted.

That same offensive line Clarett ran for over 1200 yards behind? The same line who had 3 of it's members drafted last weekend with a good chance the other two will be when their time is up at Ohio State?

Sorry bucknut, just seemed funny you would criticize the o-line in the same post you mention people shouldn't be overly critical of everything.
