I somehow missed out on Marcel Frost's injury. What's the story? When is he expected back? I'm enthused about Nicol's progress, and Hamby is a given, but with the buzz around Frost's performance in 7 on 7's this summer, and his incredible highlight reel at tight end in high school, we need him to get reps soon. Thanks for any info. Go Bucks!
 
Marcel Frost was MIA the entire season. I know he was hurt, but how serious was it? Does anyone know if he's staying at TE. It still doesn't make sense moving him to TE after reading how well he did on the scout team at DE. But then again the team needed depth at TE. Anyone got the latest scoop on Marcel Frost?

Frost absolutey dominated the few passing 7 on 7's I got to this year. OSU didn't have a player on the team that could cover him. He outran the LBs or gave them a quick move and he just outmuscled and outjumped the CBs. I saw him go one on one with Youboty 3 straight times with 4 straight receptions. He was showing great hands along with speed and athletic ability. Everyone at the practices I was at was asking who he was and just raving about him.

I have no clue what happened to him. The injury at first was suppose to keep him out for a few games. I don't know if it was worse than expected or what. I heard some rumors of off the field/classroom issues but I couldn't find anything solid. I also never saw Frost blocking. Maybe he struggled there. I do know that if he puts things together he could be the receiving threat at TE OSU has been hoping for. IMO he could be as good as everyone thought Irizarry would be.

lawrence wilson....according to his coach...could translate to a better college tight end than he does a defensive end....

i think with worthington and williams already in the fold at de.....dont be surprised if wilson gets a look at tight end first.....

as to the situation with frost i will not speculate....

Interesting post about Frost.I wondered what happened to this guy.I think Nicole is going to be a John Frank type before it's all over,I really like this guy.But speaking of Worthington,IMO,he's going to be too big to be a rush type DE by the time he hits the field,this guy is 6-7 and is going to fill out.I think he's got DT written all over him.If they get Wilson,which I'm doubtful about,he would be a rush DE,which OSU needs badly.You don't get a Will Smith very often,but they need somebody to assume that role.

Worthington's measurables are very similar to Mario Williams from NCSU two years ago.
