    Halftime:
    Texas A&M 13
    Texas 6

Vince Young can't hold on to the ball..at all.

Vince has all the tools to be a great QB, but he just continually makes mental errors. I've been watching this closely, because A+M may be our Alamo opponent and of course we play Texas at home early on next year.

Wow that extra point call is pure BS!!

What in the hell happened on the 1 point safety?

I didn't get that call at all. What a bad call that was.

    A&M: 13
    Texas: 16

I'm not sure, I always thought if the ball is kicked and it hits one of the kicking teams players it was a dead ball

Texas won 26-13. Benson had a pretty good day.

Nate I am Nate and I approved this message.

    Benson is tough.

I've only seen Texas a little bit this season, but from what I've seen, they seem to have a solid defense. Young seems to make quite a few mistakes.

Basically, if you can shut down Benson, you beat Texas. That's what OU did and it resulted in a win.

Benson runs so damn hard...it looked like Tecmo Bowl out there the way he was breaking tackles

Damn...Texas losing would have made this BCS crap a lot of fun to watch. :)

I'm glad we don't face Benson next year...too bad the rest of their team is still really damn good too. But bad news for Texas...our team is going to be really damn good next year too. Next year's game vs. Texas looks to be the biggest non-conference game in the country. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to take interest in this game. I hate to say it...but the luck Texas has...they will beat us, but we will go 10-1 and play in the Rose Bowl anyway against Oklahoma...who ends up beating Texas.

Texas is a good team when they aren't playing OU. Just like scUM is a good team when they aren't playing tOSU.

There is no way Texas is going to beat The Bucks next year...we will win by double digit!!!

Our offense won't have to put up with Derrick Johnson either.
I think we could win by 2 TD's. Especially because of the mistakes Young makes.

    Hmmm

That's what Michigan said about 3 weeks ago. Don't take it to the bank just yet. These two teams are surprisingly similar, and Texas, if properly motivated, even without a few breaks can go toe-to-toe with our beloveds.

However, we will know early on what we have in the 2005 team.
