Thanks MolGen, you saved me the time and energy needed to recycle the header from last year by replacing all the names. Always a worthy sentiment, and particularly worthwhile this year as a group of players who played key roles in an amazing period of what is now OSU football history are going to be feeling down.

Hell, if I could stay on my feet long enough, I'd go down to the airport and applaud their return.

The good times have only just begun, and we can look to many of those names as being responsible in part for the new era we currently enjoy.

When the low point of your season is a terrible loss in the national championship game following an undefeated season, you're doing better than every other team in the country save one.

Thank you to all of our departing seniors. What you all accomplished will not be remembered for this one game. Your body of work will speak for itself. Keep your heads up young men, you have a lot to be proud of.

Teddy, Gonzo and Pitt...the same to you. If this was indeed your swan song, thank you. I know you will all find success in the NFL.

Congrats to the Gators. Wow, very impressive. They played like the National Champions and put to rest any doubt who deserves to be in this game. We were beat by the better team.

1. With apologies to Chappelle; "Because the vBookie is now RICH, bitch!"
2. Because I *definitely* can not afford all the memorabilia I'd have had to buy if we won.

Hey, it hurts, and will for a while. But there's too much to appreciate about these players and this team and program for me to spend TOO much time focused on this painful loss. We'll do what Chris Perry never could, and that's get right back up after a big hit, trot back to the huddle, and run the next play (game) even harder.
