That School Up North at Ohio State, 2/16/16, 7:00, ESPN

Iowa and MSU both have really talented upperclassmen, who are also great leaders. It makes those 2 teams very tough to beat (home or away), and its also one major reason why they are ranked so high IMO. They are reliable night after night, but damnet if we play like we did last night we will give both those teams a run for their money. I'd be stupid to say that I believe we will beat both of em, but I tell you this; I have faith in the boys, I believe that without a doubt we have a shot and a good one at that! Its all about effort and energy, If guys like Loving can repeat what he did against the TUN, if Bates-Diop and Williams can sink some 3's at a nice clip, and if Tate can keep beasting out (which I know he will), then we will at least get one and who knows what might happen if the guys make the sacrifice and put it all out there. GO BUCKS!

It's a moot discussion. Ohio State won't beat Iowa or MSU.

I don't know--we get both in Columbus, we were a possession or two away from beating Maryland in Columbus, and Maryland's in the same high tier of teams that Iowa and MSU are in this year:

Coaches' poll rankings: Maryland #4, Iowa #5, MSU #9
Record: Maryland 22-4, Iowa 20-5, MSU 21-5
Head-to-head: Maryland beat Iowa by 6 in College Park, lost to MSU by 9 in East Lansing

And Penn State beat Iowa by 6 points at home. Stranger things have happened than the Buckeyes finding lightning in a bottle one of those nights. Realistically, I would be very surprised if they did.

Our players have a confidence problem. They have plenty in their own game and little in their teammates. They don't seem to embrace the idea of roles.
I don't think that's true of Lyle; he continually looks for recipients. Nor is it true of Mitchell. May be true of others.

KBD needs to have more assertiveness on the offensive end IMO. Kid has immense talent and doesn't, sometimes, appear to realize it.
