I know it would suck hard for the players and all the others depending on it financially, but I’m selfishly pretty much okay with no football. It would be kinda nice to see what a fall with free weekends would feel like. :lol:

Hell.....my blood pressure would probably hit an all-time low if I didn’t have OSU football to stress me out.

For God's sake man - we have had nothing but free weekends since March.

ACC teams already have 6 games on the calendar with ND since they're a "de facto" member. It's consistently been that way since they joined ACC for basketball. The ACC commissioner has already extended them an invite to play in their conference only games.

As I said earlier, I've heard ND is kicking tires on trying to get a 1 year invite into Big 10, because of the close proximity to so many of our member institutions. They'd rather not have to travel so far 5 times in the year, to ACC schools.

This whole thing has been like rehab for me. My daily affirmations:
I will not allow sports to have power over me.
They do not control my life.
I do not need them.
I will live without them.
I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And gosh darnit.....people tolerate me.

Until they actually bring them back at which time I will be freebasing playoff hockey like my life depends on it.
