The Basketball Tournament (Carmen's Crew = 2019 Champions)

I think they have a pretty good shot of at least going to the Final 4 with the following schedule

If team Scarlet & Gray knocks off the Banner Boys, they will advance to the Midwest region semifinals to be held next weekend in Brooklyn, NY. On Saturday, July 22nd, they would face the winner of the No. 6 Fort Wayne Champs and No. 3 Always a Brave Bradley University alumni team.

If the OSU alums are victorious next Saturday, they would advance to the regional finals where they would play the region’s top-seeded Marquette alumni team the Golden Eagles, No. 4 Purple and Black Attack (Kansas State alumni), No. 5 the Hilton Magic Legends from Iowa State, or No. 8 Majerus Slu Crew (St. Louis alumni). That game would take place on July 23rd, with a berth to the tournament semifinals on August 1st in Baltimore on the line.

Some of the guy are talking about trying to bring some of the games in this tournament to Columbus or the surrounding area next year. That would be pretty sweet..

Also do not forget that they are on Eshit tomorrow at high noon against Always a Brave.
"The crowd at Bradley was really good, came out and supported them," said Scoonie Penn, the head coach of Scarlet & Gray. "Had I known as much as I know now, we can bid to have it here in Columbus. Imagine if we had this in Columbus? We could really have a lot of people here being involved. That's something to think about in the future."

A spokesperson for The Basketball Tournament said they experimented with having regional games played in one of the alumni team's home arenas this year, and have been pleased with the results. Official attendance numbers aren't available, but Columbus would certainly be a location they'd consider as soon as next year.

With it sounding like Scarlet & Gray will become a TBT mainstay for the foreseeable future, the event eventually coming to Columbus seems inevitable.

"That would be awesome if next year, I'm sure they're gonna do this tournament again next year, to have some of the rounds in Columbus," Jon Diebler said. "With our fan support, we have the best fan base in the country. We had some Buckeye fans out in Peoria."
Why there's a good chance Ohio State alums could bring The Basketball Tournament to Columbus next year

Boeheim's Army advanced to the last 8. Good news for @BuckeyeNation27. #1 seed in their region Untouchables went down too.

Roster to roster, I think our Scarlet and Gray can certainly win tomorrow. After that it gets closer (KSU or Marquette), but I can see them into the Final 4. Unfortunately there are a few really stacked teams left in other regions so I'm not sure a championship is in the cards. Should still be fun.
