Did anyone watch this show and what do you guys think of it.

I think it is a very well thought out show and am really excited to continue watching it.

Just one thing who names there kid Yamilkah. Man I felt bad for that girl also her husband was the first to go.
 
I liked it...pretty intense but I'm wondering if the show can keep it up beyond the intial "hook" show.

The boxing action was nice due to the slowed, but not slow motion, shots of the big punches.

Yeah Grad I agree with you but I think it is going to get when they start to have little rivalries between the fighters. I think that is why they are making them room together.

Also I love the host. He is the perfect person to do this show.

ok so i just talked to my buddy who watched this. i was under the impression that it was on during 24 so i would never watch it, but i guess its on after and he loved it.

he also said one of the contestants killed himself after he lost. anybody know if this is true?

There was a guy who killed himself but I don't know if it's after he lost. I remember it was a black guy. I'll try to find the article on it and post it.

It was Najai Turpin.

The guy that killed himself lost tonite and had to go home. They have started some charity thing for his daughter. It was kind of nice for the family.

I thought it was kind of fucked up that they sent the one guy home that had the chicken poxs. It isnt like he had to fight that day. He could of fought another day. So the guy that was the first to go home got to come back. I would laugh if he took it all.

i was fine till they showed how old he was. he's the same age as me. that got me. he was a tough little fighter too......he just ran out of gas.

the chicken pox guy had to go home because he was contagious.
